JENNY TRANTER – Founder
Jenny Tranter founded State of Green in late 2010. It started with opening a small online eco homestyle store, showcasing homewares which were modern in style but light on environmental impact. It soon evolved into a separate blog, providing a forum for her to share with others the inspiring makers and creatives she unearthed.
Educated at Monash University (Arts-Social Sciences) and Deakin University (International Business), she spent 15 years working for the Australian Public Service, involving diplomatic postings to China and the Philippines. On her return to Australia she decided to hang up her public service hat, and pursue her passion in design.
Jenny’s love of the environment is rooted in her childhood filled with happy annual adventures in a yellow combi van to Byron Bay, bush walking and cross country skiing on the Victorian high plains and sinking her toes into warm sandy beaches across Australia.

Jenny also offers copywriting for design, digital and branding businesses to help you engage with your audience, in addition to writing articles for various publications. Should you need any assistance Jenny is more than happy to discuss your requirements.
